More about Prudence:
"You have the power to heal your life, and you need to know that. We think so often that we are helpless, but we're not, We always have the power of our minds...Claim and consciously use your power." ~ Louise Hay
I have been practicing massage since I was tall enough to reach my aunts' shoulders when standing behind their chairs - so, a long time ago. It seems I've always known I had a gift for finding just the right way to touch the body to relieve tension and ease pain, but it was reserved for family and close friends. For years I considered getting trained professionally and pursuing a career as a massage therapist but the salary that came with my corporate job was hard to walk away from. It wasn't until I was seriously injured and experienced for myself the healing to be found in a pair of skilled hands that I was able to walk away from the mundane and follow my passion.
It's been 15 years since I completed my training and became Nationally Certified to practice massage. Over the years I have expanded my skills to include a variety of bodywork techniques but the initial intuition remains. As I like to say, my hands are good listeners. The joy and deep gratification I receive from working with clients as they improve and maintain their well being is affirmation enough that I am on the right path.
Before we begin, we will discuss your specific concerns, needs, and expectations for the session. During the session I will incorporate different techniques into a smooth and flowing treatment. To round out your experience you'll have the option of a heated table and I have a selection of meditative music that will be playing to aide in relaxing your mind as well as your body.
