Cyndy Rivera graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2015 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
She also received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2008 and Masters of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics from California State University, Northridge.
Cyndy works with a variety of patients from pediatric to geriatric. She was an intern at Easter Seals in Sacramento where she learned to apply pediatric treatment skills various settings: in-clinic, school, home-based and pool therapy. She gained experience additional experience during her internship at Ventura County Medical Center treating a diversity of patients who were post-operative, patients with neurological conditions and patients with impaired mobility. Cyndy’s final internship was at Two Trees Physical Therapy where she honed pediatric, neurological and orthopedic treatment techniques.
Cyndy is passionate about helping others regain functional mobility and independence. Whether that means helping a patient return to sport, attain age-appropriate gross motor skills or re-learn how to walk post-stroke.

Cyndy is fluent in Spanish. She is a Ventura County native and enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She loves to travel, spend time at the beach, and enjoys hiking and running.
